New Steinway Pianos for Vol State Students

Submitted on October 28, 2009 at 12:16 PM

Patrick Orianus of Lebanon tries out the new grand piano while A.J. Hughes of Bethpage (left) and Brandon Millichamp of Gallatin (right) look on. The students are members of the Vol State Showstoppers performing group.

A shipment of seven new Steinway studio pianos and one seven foot Steinway concert grand piano will give Volunteer State Community College students top quality instruments for practice, performance and recording. Many of the old pianos had been with the college since it opened in 1971. Steinway Piano Gallery of Nashville delivered and set up the new pianos. ####
