New directors at Vol State

Carolyn Moore has been named the Director of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Volunteer State Community College. Most recently she worked as a Physical Therapist for the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. She taught college level courses and acted as clinical coordinator for McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and a Masters of Health Science degree from the Krannert School of Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis.

 

Alisha Cornish is the new Director of the Ophthalmic Program at Vol State.  She most recently worked as Director of Mobile Vision Service for The Eye Associates in Bradenton, Florida. She has a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Angelo State University in Texas. Cornish is a member of the American Optometric Association.

 

Chris Harris has been named Women’s Basketball coach at Vol State. He comes from Southeast Missouri State University where he was recruiting coordinator and assistant coach for women’s basketball. He has held head coaching positions at Connors State College in Oklahoma and Ranger College in Texas. Harris is a graduate of David Lipscomb High School in Nashville and Oklahoma Panhandle State University.###
